Get to Know the Artist
Tom Marosz’s art is a vivid reflection of his life—a culmination of triumphs, challenges, and a lifelong mastery of skill. Today, he channels that same innovative spirit into creating extraordinary glass sculptures, where light and form converge in unexpected ways.
“My fascination with light has been a lifelong passion,” Tom shares, a sentiment evident in every piece he creates. Using optic crystal, dichroic coatings, and kiln-fusing techniques, his sculptures manipulate light to surprise and delight the viewer, inviting them to explore every curve and angle. For Tom, each creation begins with a desire to control light and shape it into forms that flow, reflect, and refract—like that captivating glimmer on the horizon that keeps drawing your eye back.
Tom's drive to innovate remains at the core of his artistic journey. He continually experiments with new processes, seeking possibilities in glass that others might overlook. “Investigating the possibilities I see in glass keeps my blood flowing and my brain ticking,” he says, and it’s that energy he hopes to share through every sculpture he creates.
Tom Marosz’s work transcends craftsmanship—it’s a testament to his passion for light, his love of glass, and his ability to transform life’s experiences into enduring art. His sculptures, celebrated in private collections worldwide, invite viewers to see the world through his eyes—where light dances, negative space speaks, and every piece tells a story.

In The Studio
The ProcessTom Marosz’s process with glass is a harmonious blend of precision, patience, and passion. Each sculpture begins with a vision to manipulate light in ways that surprise and captivate, transforming raw glass into dynamic works of art. Tom employs techniques such as cold-working, cutting, grinding, and polishing to shape the material, while dichroic coatings and kiln-fusing add layers of complexity and brilliance.

The act of refining glass is both meticulous and meditative for him, a process where he loses himself in the rhythm of shaping, smoothing, and perfecting every edge and curve. He masterfully incorporates negative space, using it to tell stories or evoke emotion, ensuring that every piece resonates on multiple levels. Whether crafting bold, flowing forms or intricate, reflective surfaces, Tom’s work is guided by his unwavering commitment to innovation and his deep respect for glass as a medium.

Care and Cleaning
Fine art glass sculptures require gentle care to preserve their beauty and integrity. Always handle the sculpture with clean, dry hands or wear cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints and oils.
These versatile glass sculptures can sit on their own or be displayed upon a glass stand.
Dust regularly using a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth or a clean feather duster. Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the glass. Never submerge the sculpture, and always ensure it is placed on a stable, padded surface when cleaning.
