Tom Marosz

Tom Marosz first explored the world of light with his teenage interest in photography, lasers, and holography projects. He worked for 15 years as a glazing contractor before turning to art and utilizing his contractor knowledge in his glass work. He uses cold working, cutting, and polishing skills to create a variety of glass sculptures that range from large public installments to smaller vector sculptures.

Many of his works feature optic crystal, dichroic coating, and kiln fusing techniques. Tom creates glass work meant to manipulate light and color to create interesting and unique pieces. His creations control and manipulate light to display eye catching designs and he uses negative space and light to give his sculptures shape and flow.
