The Desert Unfolds represents the iconography of the Sonoran desert: red rocks, saguaro cactus, blooming agave, prickly pear, hummingbirds, and monsoon clouds all combine across the four panels - which can be hung separately or as a quadriptych - to create an archetypal Arizonan scene.
