Get to Know the Artist
Thomas Panzarino, known simply as Tomas, is a self-taught artist based in California whose groundbreaking work in fine art has given rise to a distinctive style he calls Zinc and Polychrome©—a vibrant fusion of metal and color.
A third-generation Italian American, Tomas was born and raised in New York before moving to California in 1968. Today, he resides in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, one of the world’s most prolific agricultural regions. The Valley’s rich, textured landscapes and cultural mosaic serve as a continual source of inspiration for his work.
Tomas’ artistic vision is also deeply informed by his extensive international travels. From the timeless villages of Italy and the elegance of France to the vivid tropics of French Polynesia, the Caribbean, and Belize, each destination has left its imprint on his artistic palette. The rugged beauty of the California Coast holds a particularly special place in his heart and frequently echoes through his work.
Over the years, Tomas has created nearly 2,000 original fine art pieces, each hand-crafted and entirely unique. He does not produce prints or reproductions—every piece is a singular expression of his creative journey. At any given time, approximately 200 original artworks are available to collectors, many of whom have built personal galleries dedicated solely to his work.
Tomas' art is a celebration of color, texture, and the expressive power of metal. His innovative approach and relentless dedication to craft continue to captivate art enthusiasts and collectors alike, offering a bold and fresh perspective in contemporary fine art.

Installation
How to Hang Large PiecesHanging your new Tomas Panzarino one-of-a-kind oil on metal painting is a simple process if you have a screw gun, torpedo level, two screws, and the appropriate wall anchors for the screws. All of these items can be easily purchased at your local ACE Hardware, Home Depot, or Lowes. If you have a professional handy person or art installer, this will be a fast and easy task for them as well.
Once you determine the approximate location you want to hang the piece, you will need to decide the vertical center and the height you want the bottom of the piece to be. First, Lean the art work gently against the wall with the art toward the wall and protected with a towel and the back exposed where you can see the hanging wire.

Measure the distance from the bottom of the painting to the hanging wire. Next, take the measurement you desire from the floor to the bottom of the painting and add that to the measurement from the bottom of the painting to the wire. Example, 28" from floor plus 50" to wire equals 78". Measure from the floor to 78" on the wall and make a mark at the approximate vertical center of the painting and draw a horizontal level line that extends a few inches to the left and right of center. Measure the horizontal space of the wall and mark the center of where you want the painting.
Simply install the anchors and screws on your horizontal line at equal distances from the center line. Make sure they fit within the center column where the wire is on the back of the painting. Lift the painting up and set it down making sure the wire catches both screws and this will make it easy to level and more stable than one screw alone. Easy work. Enjoy!

Care and Cleaning
Proper cleaning of artwork is essential to preserve its integrity and appearance. Always handle art with clean, dry hands or preferably with cotton gloves to avoid transferring oils or dirt onto the surface.
For gentle dusting, use a clean, dry, soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface. For deeper cleaning, as needed, lightly dampen a clean soft cloth with water and a dot of mild dish soap. Dry immediately behind it with a clean dry soft cloth.
