Doves by Doron Paloma is run by chief designer and president, Doron Hakimian.

He grew up in a family of precious gemstone manufacturers, pursuing an architecture degree before discovering a talent for fine jewelry design. His unique eye and passion for architecture and talented drawing skills contributed to his success in the jewelry industry. He received a degree as well as several awards in the field, including the prestigious American Institute of Architects Design Award. His talent for drawing, combined with his graphic interpretation of light, spatial relations, and color forged iconic pieces with a distinct style.

Each of his beautiful jewelry designs begins with penciled sketches and is refined to perfection by Doron in his thorough design process. He combines 18K gold, diamonds, and precious gemstones into timeless designs. Doron Paloma creates unique pieces that push the boundaries of contemporary jewelry. Under his vision, keen eye for detail, and uncompromising craftsmanship, Doves has gained global recognition, industry awards, and has been worn by the red carpet’s brightest stars.

Cleaning and Care

Cleaning and Care

To keep fine jewelry looking its best, regular cleaning and proper care are essential. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe away dirt and oils. As recommended with all fine jewelry, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, such as household cleaners, chlorine, or perfumes, as these can cause discoloration or damage. Additionally, avoid excessive moisture, heat, and sunlight since this may cause discoloration or damage to certain gemstones.

To prevent scratches and tangling, store pieces separately in a fabric-lined jewelry box or pouch. We recommend having valuable and delicate pieces periodically cleaned by professional jewelers to ensure the settings remain secure and gemstones retain their brilliance.

Cleaning Hard Gemstones-
(Diamond, Garnet, Amethyst, Morganite, Quartz/Rose Quartz, Onyx & Tsavorite)

For a deeper clean, soak the jewelry in a solution of warm water and mild dish soap for a few minutes, then gently scrub with a soft-bristled toothbrush or make-up brush, paying special attention to settings and crevices. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean cloth.

Cleaning Soft Gemstones-
(Turquoise, Topaz, Amazonite, Opal, Malachite, Pearl, Mother of Pearl, & Lapis)

Cleaning porous gemstones requires extra care due to their ability to absorb moisture, oils, and chemicals. If the gemstone needs a deeper clean, mix warm water and mild dish soap. Then soak a soft cloth in the soapy water (not the gemstone itself) and gently wipe the surface, followed by soaking the soft cloth in warm water for a quick wipe following the first to remove any residue. Never soak the stone directly in water, as prolonged exposure can lead to discoloration or damage. Gently dry it with a lint-free cloth after cleaning and allow the gemstone to air dry completely before storing it.
