SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for shopping at Creative Gateways!

 

We understand how important it is for you to receive your order promptly and in perfect condition. Rest assured; we got you covered.

 

Standard US Shipping

All orders are shipped via UPS or USPS (except for oversized items and items requiring special care).

Shipping charges are calculated for standard delivery to one address. If you are shipping to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each address. 

As a security precaution to protect our customers against fraud, fine jewelry will only be shipped to the billing address and may also require that we verify your identity.  Please understand this is for your protection.

We will only ship to a street address, not a P.O. Box address.

 

Signature Requirements for Delivery

We require a signature for delivery of fine jewelry and items over $1,000 regardless of any waivers you have from the carrier. These requirements are for your protection.

We urge you to inspect your package for damage or tampering before receiving or signing for receipt.  Sometimes this may require an opening in front of the carrier.

 

Processing Time

Most in-stock items ship within 1-2 business days. Oversized items and items requiring special care ship within 5-10 business days due to the complex packing process.

Some items are shipped directly from the artist, and it may take additional time for your order to arrive.

For special, custom, and commission orders the artist may need to make, it may be best to contact us for an estimated time frame to ship.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by just a few days.

You will receive an email update with your tracking number once your order has shipped! Please allow UPS/USPS up to 48 hours to reflect updates on their tracking page.

 

International Shipping

We're sorry, but we cannot currently ship to locations outside the United States.

We might consider shipping to Canada. Please get in touch with us to inquire.

All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer's responsibility (tariffs, taxes, duties, etc.)

 

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Delivery time does not include processing time and time to create custom or specially ordered pieces.

Our store is not liable for any delays that may occur once your order has been shipped.

 

Insurance Coverage

All of our shipments are fully insured, but we may require your assistance when proceeding with filing a claim.

 

Damages and Missing Orders

We have learned the best way to pack and ship our items but once it leaves the gallery, we are no longer in control of how it is handled.  Although it is rare, items can break or get lost.

If you received your order damaged, or if the order appears to be lost during shipping, always contact us first. Do not attempt to file a claim with the carrier yourself. We will file a claim on your behalf, and a refund or replacement will be issued pending your cooperation during the claim process.

If your order arrives damaged, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods for claim evidence purposes. Notice of damage must be provided within 48 hours of delivery.

Photos of damaged items and both inner and outer packaging will be required when disclosing damage. Additional photos may be required throughout the claims process and are your responsibility, as the recipient, to provide them.

Do not release any products or packaging to any other entity, including the carrier, repair estimate facilitator, etc. before consulting with us.

 

Good Faith Cooperation

When an insurance claim needs to be filed for a shipment, both Creative Gateways and you, the recipient, acknowledge both parties' respective responsibilities. Both parties agree to cooperate in good faith to provide any necessary items within the necessary timeframe. Each party should respond to each communication with the needed information within 48 hours.  Should either party be unable or unwilling to fulfill the duties necessary for a successful claim approval, they may be liable for any losses not recovered.
