Stillness PMC-OC

Stillness is a mixed media painting measuring 40" x 30". This piece is a mixed media painting by artist Michael Colpitts from Sedona, Arizona. He uses skillful layers of acrylic or oil paints to create these mixed medium paintings. He then adds a combination of different materials such as gesso, light charcoal, modeling paste, grog, sand, thick oil colors, acrylic washes, and transparent oil washes to add extra dimension and texture to the painting. This mixed medium wall art is pleasing to look at as a result of the vibrant colors and added texture that comes from this skillful application of different medias.
