The Spirit of our Shipping and Return Process
We understand how important it is for you to receive the art or jewelry you purchased in a timely manner and in perfect condition. We are dedicated to providing the best possible service and happiness in these areas and continue to actively seek out ways to improve. Please rest assured that if you order online or in one of our physical locations, we are working diligently to delight you.
Most of the time we are able to facilitate timely and safe arrival of your pieces. We guarantee and insure all shipments and if a piece arrives damaged or broken, we will replace it or repair it depending on the art medium. In some cases, original works may not be duplicated exactly like the original. If the artist is unable to duplicate a broken piece to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund of the cost of the item and the shipping.
The carriers are currently experiencing employee shortages and staffing challenges that have created some delays periodically. Please be prepared that some of these delays are out of our control but we will attempt to do the best we are able to stay on top of the safe arrival of your pieces.
Small items such as jewelry or small art pieces that are easy to pack and ship, we aim to ship within 3 business days and currently look to improve that timeframe. larger and more difficult pieces to pack can take as long as 1-2 weeks to properly pack depending on the materials they need to be packed in. Again, we are striving to decrease this timeframe. Custom or commissioned items require adding the time it takes to create the piece to the timeframes above.
Our 7 day returns policy. We are a small business and we work with over 90 artists. The artist and gallery business is not an easy business to be profitable in. Both sides have to do their best to eliminate losses, waste, excess, etc. in order to keep providing art for the world. It is very important to our artists that they are paid for their works on time and it becomes extremely troublesome for them if we have to claw back commissions we have paid them after they have been paid. Our 7 day return policy allows us to avoid ever having to create that negative for them. This 7 day policy is for you the buyer to be able to return an item for any reason and receive a full refund of the cost of the item. If we had to pay for shipping then we will not be returning the cost of the shipping to you. Please see below for more details.
The spirit of our policy is to create a win/win/win in every transaction. You the client should get a great piece of artwork and have a happy experience. The artist should be compensated fairly and enjoy the satisfaction of creating and others enjoying what they create. The gallery needs to remain a profitable business that can continue to give the public access to beautiful art. This is win/win/win. Thank you for being a wonderful partner in the art ecosystem we are creating. ~Brett Labit-President of Creative Gateways Brett@CreativeGateways.com
You may return most new items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, less the shipping charges, for any reason. We pay the outgoing and return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). If you simply changed your mind, you may return the item at your expense for the outgoing and return shipping costs.
For reimbursement on damaged or incorrect items shipped, the item must be opened and inspected with 24 hours. Most carriers require this for reimbursement to the shipper.
Custom or commissioned orders: All sales are final with no returns. You are given adequate photos and possibly video to approve all custom pieces prior to shipping. Once you acknowledge and accept the piece via email, the sale will be completed and final and the item will be shipped within 3 business days.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item or have any questions, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 480-359-3000 to speak to someone that can help.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
Small and less fragile items, such as jewelry, will be shipped withing 1-3 business days. Larger and more complex items may take as much as 5-10 business days for proper protection and shipping of the item.
When you place an order, you are charged a fixed rate for domestic shipping in the US. For international shipping, we will contact the carrier to get a quote and then contact you for the difference in cost to be paid to complete the order and ship. We will use the shipping address that you enter when you register for an account, combined with the size and weight of the packaged item to determine the final shipping cost.
